Land and Water Resources are gateways to many activities. Rigid are we in using old technologies; exerting pressure on land and water resources. Adoption of technologies such as using renewable energy, recycling, harvesting water, and proper land utilization according to suitability, use of appropriate scientific and technological methods in urbanization, industrialization, transportation, and agricultural practices will greatly conserve land and water. This book discusses various technologies for land and water utilization, degradation, management, their effect on industrial development, output, and economies of various Countries. The reasons some Countries have small land and water resources but are leading in industrial output and economies are, highlighted.
