Arabic language has attained the status of an International language. United Nations has adopted Arabic as one of its six official languages. Arabic language plays a vital role in the commercial and the cultural fields in the globalizational era. Translation is the communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text; the act or process of translating something into a different language. The purpose of this work is to train the students in the translation studies from Arabic into English and vice-versa in the field of Computer by providing worked out exercises.The term technical translation refers to the translation of materials dealing with technological subject areas and using the specialized terminology of scientific and technological information. Technical terms include all categories of terminology used in the field of computer and technology: Internet, hardware, software, measurement units and acronyms. The problem in the translation of technical terminology into Arabic involved in using comprehensive multilingual resources of technical terms, Arabicisation and Arabic-expanding techniques.

Dr K.M.A.Ahamed Zubair has been teaching Arabic Literature and Language in New College, Chennai, India. He has written 45 books in English, Tamil and Arabic languages, which were published from Germany, Iraq and India. His research articles got published from India, Canada & Malaysia.
