Beschreibung
Brushless direct current (dc) motors serve as an important tool in flywheel energy storage systems. Thus, finding techniques that improve their performance will enable efficient flywheel energy storage capabilities. In this book, sensorless methods involving back electromagnetic force (EMF) of the motor are investigated and their feasibility simulated and tested. The motor is coupled to a flywheel and storing energy from solar panels.
